WE ARE ICE

The International Contemporary Ensemble is a program that engages aspiring young dancers in the world of professional contemporary dance.

Designed primarily for YAGP dancers aged 14 to 19, the program focuses on giving students direct experience with the processes and standards of a professional dance company. The reflective training, rehearsal, and performance schedule, supports ICE’s quest for artistic development, international exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with established voices in the world of contemporary dance.

ICE workshops are hosted in locations around the world, including NYC, Amsterdam, Torino, Genoa, Tokyo, TLV, Bucharest and more, spotlighting iconic works by globally acclaimed choreographers.

The ICE cast then travels to global destinations for the showcasing of world renowned contemporary pieces at iconic events including YAGP galas in Lincoln Center, the Nervi Ballet and Music Festival in Italy, the TLV Opera House, The Straz Center and Teatro Sociale di Como, as well as festivals such as The Lugano Music and Dance Festival.
